Yichang-Yangtze River Highway Bridge is the project across over the Yangtze River on the Shanghai-Chengdu National Highway in Yichang. The main bridge has 960m steel suspension bridge for main span. It is the gigantic first-class highway bridge, which suspends over the Yangtze River-Yichang Section from the western section of Hubei Province into the Chongqing City. It is the national key construction project in Ninth Five Project. The location is in Huya Shoal of Yichang County, about 15 km away from the county, upstream 22 km away from Gezhou Dam, 40 km away from the Three Gorges Dam, downstream about 45 km away from Zhi County Yangtze River Bridge.
